Wikipedia administrators can intervene in disputes when policy violations occur, particularly during edit wars or when conduct issues arise. Admin intervention operates in parallel with the regular dispute resolution pathway and can occur at any stage. Administrators can protect pages, issue warnings, and apply blocks to enforce policies.
